Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

We collect two categories of information when you use CustomerClarity.

A. Your uploaded file

When you upload a CSV file, we receive the contents of that file, which typically includes customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses. This data is:

• Processed in server memory to generate your analysis
• Never written to a persistent database or long-term storage
• Retained in memory for a maximum of one hour, then discarded automatically
• Never shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third party

B. Usage and technical data

We collect limited technical data to operate and improve the service:

• Number of records in each uploaded file (no content — just the count)
• Analysis completion status and timing
• Browser type and general location (country level) via standard server logs
• Error logs that may include file metadata but not file content

This data is anonymised and used solely for service operation and improvement.

3. Generated reports

When you unlock your analysis, the service generates:

• A PDF summary report stored temporarily on our servers
• An HTML drilldown document stored temporarily on our servers

These files are accessible only via a long, unguessable private URL. They are automatically deleted within 24 hours of generation. We do not index, share, or retain these files beyond that window.

4. Survey responses

If you choose to complete the optional feedback survey, your responses are sent to us by email. Survey responses may include:

• Your answers to the survey questions
• Your email address if you opt in to updates
• The filename and record count of your upload (to provide context)

Survey responses are used solely to improve the product. Email addresses collected via the survey are used only to send product updates and are never shared or sold.

5. Cookies and local storage

CustomerClarity uses browser localStorage to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode). This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not use tracking cookies or any third-party analytics.

6. Third-party services

CustomerClarity uses the following third-party services in limited ways:

• Google Fonts — to load typefaces for the interface. Google may log the font request. No personal data from your upload is involved.
• Our hosting infrastructure — servers are located in the United States.

We do not use advertising networks, social media pixels, or any behavioural tracking tools.

7. Data subject rights

Because we do not store your uploaded data beyond the session, most data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) are automatically satisfied — your data is gone within an hour of upload.

If you submitted survey feedback and wish to have it removed, or if you have any other privacy request, contact us at support@ubiquitous.llc and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

CustomerClarity is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect data during processing, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
